Description

The ORCA Response Transport System by Intelsius is a passive temperature-controlled solution designed to protect temperature-sensitive medicines, blood products, and specialist samples for up to 72 hours. By combining advanced insulation technologies—including phase change materials (PCM) and vacuum insulation panels (VIP)—it maintains a stable internal temperature regardless of external conditions. With a payload capacity of 2 litres (e.g. three 270 ml blood bags), this system is ideal for use in emergency medicine, pharmacies, laboratories, and blood donation services. Its durable outer shell features reinforced corners, a shoulder strap and a document pocket, and is approved for carry-on use on commercial flights. Each version includes colour-coded PCM cooling elements (purple for 2–8 °C, blue for 15–25 °C, red for -20 °C) and a reusable container with optimised space for blood products. All components are engineered for longevity, impact resistance and user-friendliness, and comply with the rigorous ISTA 7D standard.
