Description
The splint roll is used to immobilise and stabilise injured limbs. Together with gauze or fixation bandages and additional padding, it holds the limb in the desired position. The splint tape from Dr. Paul Koch made of 1 mm thick aluminium and a thin padding is used for splinting and immobilising the extremities of small animals, e.g. in case of a hairline fracture. The splint tape is highly economical - it can easily be shortened to the desired length. Thanks to the aluminium, it remains radiopaque.
