Description

The ANIPLAST® Algi Dressing from Genia is a gel dressing with calcium and sodium alginate, which is suitable for lightly exuding and bleeding wounds. Alginates have a wound cleansing effect and can absorb 20 times their own weight in wound secretion. In addition, the Algi dressing is haemostatic and can also be used on infected wounds. The dressing forms a protective gel on the wound and thus creates a moist wound environment. This accelerates wound healing and effectively minimises the risk of infection.
