Description

The E-FIBER suture with needle and crimp from SMI is used for orthopaedic surgery. It is especially suitable for the reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament in dogs. Made from ultra-molecular polyethylene and polyester, the suture offers high flexibility and unmatched strength due to its non-absorbable property. Thanks to the unique braid construction with blue tracer, it grants better visibility and superior knot security, as the flat yet smooth surface allows each knot to lock against the previous one. The E-FIBER suture is available in various thicknesses with or without crimp and is supplied with a straight and curved needle.
