Description

The comprehensive, modular and angular stable EickLoxx Small osteosynthesis system is suitable for the surgical treatment of fractures in small animals of up to 15kg. The set contains instruments, bone plates and screws made from high-quality, biologically advantageous materials like titanium. Thanks to the multiaxial placement of precisely shaped screws, it is possible to use them at an angle of up to ± 15°. In addition, the use of angle stable systems offers the advantage of particularly fast fracture healing and optimised implant strength. As a result, the used screws and plates rarely need to be removed again. The plates included in the EickLoxx osteosynthesis system are available in three sizes and can be cut to size and bent in all three planes. One large advantage of these plates is the low contact to the periosteum. This reduces the iatrogenic strain on the bone perfusion, reduces the risk of infection an accelerates bone healing.
