Description

The Feliway Classic Spray is used to prevent undesirable stress-related behaviour in cats. The spray is based on cat pheromones that are released when cats feel particularly at ease. When stressful areas are sprayed with the pheromone, the cat is able to relax. Typical applications of the spray are to prevent scratching and urine markings, to integrate new objects in the house or when moving the cat. It is important not to spray in the presence of the cat, as the initially intense smell of alcohol must first dissipate and some cats are frightened by the spraying noise. For a more extensive application, for example when moving house, we recommend the Feliway Classic Happy Home Vaporiser. This can also be used in combination with the spray. If necessary, clean the affected area thoroughly with vinegar or alcohol cleaner, spray 8 - 10 sprays of Feliway on the affected area several times a day and apply until the cat sets its own pheromones with its chin in the corresponding areas.
