MaiMed-silk is an adhesive tape made from white, artificial silk taffeta and is very skin-friendly, thanks to its polyacrylate adhesive. This non-sterile adhesive tape can be torn lengthways and crossways; it is hypoallergenic, latex-free and has a wide range of applications throughout the everyday practice. It can, for example, be used to in wound care or to secure catheters and drainage systems. The tape is ideal for patients with sensitive skin and easily secures the bandages of small wounds, as it can be torn lengthways or crossways depending on the patients needs. The tape is available in different widths. Available in various widths and package sizes: 1.25 cm (24 rolls/box), 2.5 cm (12 rolls/box), 5.0 cm (6 rolls/box) MaiMed-silk adhesive tape is used to secure catheters, feeding and breathing tubes, drainage systems and wound bandages.
