Description
The NucleoProtect® VET reagent from Macherey-Nagel is used for molecular diagnostics in veterinary medicine. It is used to preserve nucleic acids (DNA and RNA), while infectious viruses are inactivated immediately. Inactivation efficiency is more than 99.99 %, ensuring safe use for the veterinary and laboratory staff. This method allows the most accurate analysis of whole blood and swab samples and delivers equally accurate test results. In addition, cooling of the samples is no longer necessary, which enables safe transport.
