The ORCA Dry Ice shippers from Intelsius are qualified for use with dry ice and provide a minimum of 120 hours performance at temperatures below -20 °C. These disposable systems are specially designed to maintain vaccines and personalised medicines at the correct temperature during transportation. This is achieved through a combination of phase change materials and vacuum insulated panels. The sturdy outer packaging, made of corrugated cardboard, provides essential protection against external influences. Once the goods are received, the packaging can be easily disposed of. Dry ice is the ideal coolant for shipping medicines because, unlike cold packs, it evaporates without leaving any residue, eliminating concerns about moisture from melting or condensation during transportation.
