paraTest® Flotation Container 44000-0000

Description

The paraTest® flotation container is used in veterinary medicine for faecal examinations using the flotation method. The animal owner can cleanly collect the faecal sample with the blue tube and transport it safely in the sealable container. The veterinarian can then process the sample without direct contact by pouring the flotation solution directly into the flotation container. Heavier faecal components settle to the bottom and coarse dirt particles are prevented from rising by the sieve in the tube. After a cover glass has been placed and any roundworm and tapeworm eggs as well as coccidial oocysts have risen, a microscopic examination can be carried out. For this purpose, the cover glass is carefully removed and placed on a microscope slide.
