Description

The parvovirus test serves the detection of canine and feline parvovirus antigens (CPVa, 2b, 2c, CPV2 and FPV) in stool samples of dogs and cats. The specific antibodies of the sandwich immunoassay detect and visualise the parvovirus antigens in the sample. The quick and easy test procedure allows for a reliable on-site diagnosis. Bring the sample material and the components of the test kit to room temperature. Open the aluminium package of the test cassette and place the cassette on a horizontal surface. Open the sample tube, hold the sample swab with sample in the tube and stir the fluid until you see it discolour. You can also squeeze the tube in the middle to wring the swab and dissolve the sample. Remove the swab and close the sample tube to shake it. Now you can break off the tip of the tube. Add three drops of the sample material to the sample well. Hold the test tube vertically with the lid facing downward. Start the timer. The results can be read after 10 minutes (not later!) after the start of the timer.
