Description

These sterile swabs are suitable for taking and transporting samples that need to be stored without medium. A secure closure of the plastic tube is guaranteed thanks to the stopper, so that contamination and a resulting falsification of the analysis results is avoided. Due to the length of the rod of over 10 cm, smears can also be taken from deeper tissue layers. The sterile swabs consist of a polysterol rod with a viscose head and are individually shrink-wrapped. For clear labelling and identification, each tube is provided with a label on which the individual patient data can be noted. This also facilitates processing of the sample within the laboratory.
