Description

The Surgigryl PGA Suture Spool from SMI is a braided and coated multifilament that is designed for use in veterinary medicine. This synthetic suture material features high tensile strength, excellent tissue retention and a predictable resorption rate by hydrolysis. It offers minimal tissue reaction, excellent knot security and a smooth passage through tissue, which reduces the risk of tissue trauma. The suture material is available on a convenient flat spool, can be cut to meet specific needs and is available in a range of variants. Perfect for soft tissue adaptation, ligatures or skin closure in general and visceral surgery. The hydrolysis that degrades the material results in complete resorption in approximately 60 to 90 days.
