The Tea Tree Oil from cdVet is an essential oil obtained from 100% Melaleuca alternifolia and produced using a gentle water bath distillation process. This method ensures that the temperature does not exceed 100 °C, thereby preventing the formation of allergenic combustion products and ensuring high tolerability. The product is sourced from certified organic cultivation or wild collection, thus meeting the highest quality standards. With a cineole content of less than 4%, Tea Tree Oil is characterised by its antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral effects. In human medicine, it is mainly used for topical application, for example to support the treatment of pruritic dermatitis.
