Description

The TONOVET Plus tonometer determines the intraocular tension in dogs, cats, rabbits and horses, based on the rebound method. Since it is completely pain-free and takes only a few seconds, the measurement is tolerated particularly well. One advantage of the TONOVET Plus is the indicator light: green or red light indicates whether the angle is correct and whether the device is ready for measurement. Additionally, a ring of light is cast onto the eye, making it easier to hit the centre of the cornea. However if an animal is irritated by the light, it can be switched off. At the push of a button, six measurements can be taken in a row. A signal tone sounds for each measurement, which can be switched off if needed. The TONOVET Plus tonometer is equipped with a large colour display, does not need to be calibrated and stands out thanks to its extraordinary measurement accuracy.
