Description

The ultrasound table with ergonomic openings is used for transthoracic echocardiography of the heart in animals. The animal is placed on the table in a lateral position and can thus be sonicated from below. The heart lies close to the chest wall and only a thin layer of airy lung interferes with the sound waves. The tabletop not only allows the animal to be in a comfortable position, but also allows the practitioner to perform the ultrasound in a particularly effortless way. The exam table can be used to examine animals of different sizes, as it is equipped with a large opening, as well as two smaller windows in the middle. They can be adjusted to the shape of the animal thanks to circular inserts. Additionally, the table is equipped with a thick foam padding and robust, easy-to-clean synthetic leather. The robust legs are made from beech wood and can be folded to save space.
