Description

The insulating and robust vacuum mattress serves the stabilisation of anaesthetised animals during surgical procedures, CT, MRI or X-rays. The so-called MicroSpace system with a filling of micro polystyrene balls that are one fifth smaller than usual, the mattress allows for perfect adjustment to the patient's body and excellent pressure relief. The even distribution of the animal's contact pressure prevents paresis and preserves the skin's microcirculation. Moreover, the vacuum mattress offers a high level of safety during surgical procedures: the patient is safely fixed into place and does not slip even if the table is tilted. Additionally, the insulation protects the animal from cooling down even during longer procedures. The vacuum mattress made of scratch-proof nylon fabric is equipped with reinforced handles, so that patients of every sizes can be transported without problems.
