The Vcheck Feline SAA 3.0 from Bionote is an in-vitro diagnostic kit for quantitative measurement of the acute inflammation marker Serum Amyloid A (SAA) concentration in feline serum and plasma. It is suitable for early detection of post-operative infections, inflammation and monitoring inflammatory responses to treatment. Testing requires the Vcheck V200 and V2400 Veterinary Analysers, with only 5 μl of serum or plasma (heparinised) needed as sample material. Results are available in just 5 minutes, with a measurement range of 10 to 200 mg/L. This allows rapid diagnosis and effective monitoring of inflammation in asymptomatic cats, ensuring timely and precise medical care and treatment.
