Description

The veterinary handheld slit lamp is designed for the examination of the anterior segment of the eye and intraocular lesions, supporting detailed ophthalmic assessments in veterinary practice. The compact design, low weight of approx. 290 g and integrated rechargeable battery make it suitable for flexible use in the practice and during mobile examinations. The device provides 6.5x magnification and delivers bright, stable LED illumination with ≥ 10000 lux. The continuously adjustable brightness, selectable slit widths of 0.2 mm, 0.7 mm and φ12 mm as well as the 30° slit angle allow the examination settings to be adapted to different requirements. The integrated cobalt blue filter (420–480 nm) further expands the range of ophthalmic examination options. For convenient handling, the rotatable eyepiece/device switch enables comfortable examination of both eyes. The Bluetooth connection allows the device to be paired with a smartphone, while one-button photo capture supports the digital documentation of findings. This helps to maintain structured records and monitor changes over time. The veterinary hand slit lamp can be operated using a mains adapter or the internal battery, which pro
