Description

The Willway Lumiscan WIA-100 Rapid Test is a quantitative immunofluorescence rapid test for veterinary diagnostics in dogs and cats. Depending on the test variant, samples such as serum, plasma, whole blood, faeces or conjunctival secretion are applied to the test card, which is then inserted into the WIA-100 analyser. The time-resolved immunofluorescence technology enables quantitative measurement of the relevant analytes. Depending on the test, results are available after 3–15 minutes. In Standard Mode, incubation takes place directly in the analyser, while fully incubated test cards can be evaluated in approximately 10 seconds in Quick Mode. Calibration is straightforward: the test- and batch-specific ID card automatically transfers the required parameters to the analyser. Once a batch has been registered, the ID card does not need to be scanned again for subsequent tests from the same batch, helping to simplify routine workflows. The rapid tests can be stored at 2–30 °C and do not require refrigeration, making them convenient for routine use in veterinary practices.
