Description

The Willway OPTIVO 3 is a fully automated veterinary haematology analyzer for precise 3-part differential analysis of whole and capillary blood samples. It analyses up to 24 haematological parameters, including WBC, Neu#, Lym#, RBC, HGB and PLT, providing comprehensive results for routine veterinary diagnostics. The analyzer uses electrical impedance to count white and red blood cells and platelets, while haemoglobin is measured colorimetrically. The results are presented in three histograms, allowing rapid visual assessment. The Willway OPTIVO 3 supports samples from up to 18 animal species, including dogs, cats, horses, cattle and exotic species such as llamas and tigers. With a sample volume of just 9–10 µl, it is also suitable for patients where only small sample volumes are available. A throughput of up to 60 samples per hour supports efficient workflows in busy veterinary practices. Automatic and manual calibration, together with 3-level quality control including Levey-Jennings and X-B charts, help ensure reliable and reproducible analysis. Operation is intuitive via the 10.4-inch touchscreen. USB, LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity enable integration with practice information system
