Description
The Witte tourniquet is a metal chain that is used to control blood flow in the blood vessels of large animals. It can be used on the animals' extremities, and occasionally also on the neck to control blood flow in the jugular veins. In this way, blood samples can be taken or intravenous medications can be injected. Thanks to its extraordibary stability and length of 1.7m, the tourniquet is suitable for use on large animals.
