Description

The i-gel supraglottic airway from Intersurgical is used to secure the airways in the operating theatre and in emergency medicine. i-gel is a perfect match for human anatomy. The shape, consistency and contours recreate the pharyngeal, laryngeal and perilaryngeal conditions to allow for optimal sealing. The characteristics of the soft, gel-like material make an inflatable cuff unnecessary, thus reducing the risk of compression trauma.
